Much more disturbing than Hostel

I found this film much more disturbing than Hostel 1 or 2. I mean the idea of some rich nutcases who want to torture and kill someone is one thing. But it's much worse to imagine that my own government uses the taxes I pay to hire a man to torture a person who is even an American citizen.

And the torture scenes in this films are more intense too. In Hostel, most of the torture scenes have a funny/unreal touch. But while watching Unthinkable, it is somehow easier to imagine how it must hurt if someone cuts your fingers, drills your teeth or pierces your eardrum.

I haven't seen Hostel, but agree that this was a very disturbing film.

Well now, thanks a LOT for spoiling Hostel 1 and 2 for me. *grr*

Just kidding, I've seen all 3 Hostels. ;-)

Hostel is a very tame movie. There exists films that are far, far worse than anything in Hostel, but the mainstream audience wouldn't be aware of them. Hostel is a kids film really compared to what you get if you look outside of America.

i have to disagree. Hostel is about some rich psychos who enjoys torturing innocent tourists kidnapped by sick people. This movie is about the government forced to torture the terrorist to get info from terrorists and save innocent people from attacks, the terrorist could stop the torture anytime they want by giving them (government) the info, the victims in hostel cannot.

Hey, your argument is far too incisive, nuanced, and logical to be comprehended, by someone who refuses to use the word terrorist cause it's "mean" and it makes "panda sad". Hence of course conservatives are mean and they like to torture and eat babies.
