Would H really have tortured Younger's children?
Do you think that H would really have tortured/killed Younger's children if he still did not break?
shareDo you think that H would really have tortured/killed Younger's children if he still did not break?
shareI was wondering that myself but as if they would save two children when firstly he had killed 53 people at the Mall and secondly you wouldn't let millions die to save two children. I think he would have.! Great movie. Watched it yesterday.
shareHe would have killed them. When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...
Yes. In those millions who would die are also children, and their parents did not do *beep* so he would have to do so. Yusuf had this go too far, he should have just said it before the wife was even taken to the torture room.
shareYes had he been able to do a bit more with the kids they probably would have found out about the 4th bomb.. As it was thousands of people will have died including children. I think they should have said they'll take the children to where the bombs are and leave them there so he would have killed his own children.. Evacuate the area and leave the kids with the bomb.. He soon would have told everything and he'd be the only one with blood on his hands if not
shareI know I would!
shareI think that is a yes.
Its that man again!!
If he was willing to slit an innocent woman's throat, he'd definitely be willing to kill the children. Like many people have said, the bomb would've killed thousands of children, so what's the big deal with risking two more in an attempt to save everyone?
shareI would have. I may not have been able to live with myself either, but you bet your ass I would've done whatever needed to be done. And this wasn't just about it going off in America, I'd do it for any large group of people that have no reason whatsover to be mass slaughtered.
I think this is where the movie *beep* up. Most people as you can see probably would have caved and given the green light to use the children with what was at stake. Samuel's character spent the entire movie trying to convince the select few people trying to save the US, to save the US. Why the hell were these guys even in the room if they couldn't take the heat? I'm sure America's hire ups would do much worse if there was a real threat made in this manner. I just found it odd how everyone wanted to play Hero except Samuel's character, he probably spends more time arguing with these morons and telling them how to do their jobs than actually getting closer to finding the bombs.
The guy never denied a 4th bomb, and using the children had gotten them all the information they'd spent that ENTIRE time trying to get. So, instead of scaring a couple kids with the lights off we'll let them stand in the hall to calm down while a nuke detonates. I really hope we have more intelligent people taking care of things like this..
Feel me?
I wouldn't have thought he would, up until the scene in which he slit Younger's wife's throat. As far as H knew at that point, she was entirely innocent. So he proved at that point that he was entirely capable of ruthlessly killing innocents. The only thing that left even the slightest doubt was that he seemed overwhelmed with sorrow after he had killed her (the scene of him sobbing).
He did turn out the lights in the torture room though when he took the children in there, which suggests that he wanted to try to get the information from Younger without actually physically harming them, or at least without physically torturing them. But he might have felt some restraint then only later to have felt, pushed to the brink just minutes before the time the bombs were due to explodr, that he had no choice but to go all out, even if it meant torturing innocent children.
