Well, we already knew it was mainly a tactic of oppressive regimes to control populations.

Not a super tool to investigate.

No ticking time bomb, guys. It was an excuse for the cruel lack of effiency of intelligence service

"Well, we have been warned by dozens of goverments secret service, and we were unable to prevent 9/11... BUT we tortured bad guys... well, suspects... and it failED again"

Don' worry. At least, it won't prevent people to enjoy some good torture porn on TV .

Sorry Junior. The reason torture has persisted for thousands of years is because it does work.

I've been through SEAR twice. Belive me, if you had been, you'd be singing "Sweet home Alabama" after 5 minutes.

The reason torture existed for thousands of years is because people enjoy doing it.

So your saying the torture the spanish inquisition did worked? The torture of witches and for other religious reasons worked?
