That they use him as he is, live action, and yet all the other humans are still fake looking cartoons.
What is up with that?
It really takes away from the movie to combine real with animated like that.
There's a couple Buy N' Large commercials in the beginning that feature real humans, too. It was the time in space (and the sedentary lifestyle) that changed the shape of the humans on the Axiom.
