The old man..?

In the beginning of the movie, Pete tries to convince Ray and Toby he went into the future. When they're back in the gents, the old man comes in and leaves again because of what he sees.

What time did he go?

And another thing, the old man jumps up again halfway the movie and leaves because of Pete who's holding a knife. So... The old man couldn't have gone into the toilets where he didn't see them doing their "Science experiment" so they caused a paradox, right?

Or om I wrong?

reply

I don't think he travelled the first time after witnessing the "conga" as he just came in and did an about turn and left...and the second time he encounters them with their weapons it's in the corridor of the pub

reply

But wasnt the man on his way to the toilets to see them in there?

reply

No, because the earlier versions of them were still at the table writing a letter to Hollywood.

reply

When they were at the table the old man met the future thems and was stratled because of the knife. So he went later when the present selves were doing the conga and was startled again. Would be great if someone explained the timeline in the pub until everything got reset.

"sir, sir, i gotta check and see if you've soiled yourself, I'll get to you in a moment, sir!"

reply

he went to a time where he meets them at the end of movie again.
