Another question/goof re: toilet scene

Ok so when the 3 of them are hiding in the toilet stall from the other 3 of them, why doesn't Ray realize that he never looked inside the third stall? Knowing this, he should be completely calm in this scenario, but he acts as if he has no idea?

reply

If he hadn't acted concerned, he could have done something to alert himself that didn't happen the first time and cause a paradox.

Because they don't know if things can change or not. Just because he didn't look in there doesn't necessarily mean his past self won't.

What's funny is the first time he was looking into the stalls he never looked through into third one. I did wonder why at the time and wasn't surprised when he never the second time, at least the second time shown. Anyways Pete never knew it was a paradoxical paradox so all the actions done have been done before at the same time as they will be done in the future. That's why he was scared he'd be seen, he thought the timeline could change. Which is strange because he shouldn't have been able to change what happened in the pub with everyone dead if the timeline was paradoxical.
