we need more comedy time travel movies

Time travel is my ultimate genere. I own over 70 movies involving time travel on dvd (almost all of the released movies). I just love it so much. The thing is, very few are actually comedies. And if they are comedies, they are bad ones. Aside from groundhog day (which I dont really consider a comedy), Bill and teds excellent adventure is my fav TT comedy (bogus journey sucked). Im hoping for some halarity in this film and I hope more like it are made.

Back to the Future is definitely a comedy, and a hilarious one.

What about "Hot tub time machine"? It's not great but it's a time travel comedy

Time travel is my ultimate genere.

In that case you should read Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveler's Wife, which is a great treat of a book with time travel as its central theme. They've also made it into a film now, but I'd expect they've totally ruined it, because the book is very near perfect, and it just seems impossible to capture the magic on screen.

The Time Travelers Wife was the worst book I have ever had the misfortune to read.

Summertime machine blues is a sweet time travel comedy from Japan where some normal college students find a time machine and try to use it to fix the broken remote to their A/C unit during a very hot summer. It is out on English subtitled DVD.
