A little bit better then the other one, but I don't know. This looks pretty bad, like every other 8 Films to Die For! lol :P
Ah, but we're afraid she has a homicidal streak.share

The US trailer gives is not bad although it much of the plot of the film away.
The french version of the trailer isn't great but gives the wrong impression of the film in terms of mood and where the film actually goes and makes the it appear far more ordinary/dull than it actually is.same with the japenese trailer.

The film is not great and is flawed in a number of ways, but it is far from bad. It slow, brooding and classy with old school sensibilities and style and borrows from many classics, which may not necessarily be to the taste to modern day audiences. However if you go with it and forgive the plot faults and some clunky scenes it is rewarding particularly in terms of capturing a certain mood, tension and uncomfortableness.
Technically the film works very well. The film has excellent production design with huge attention to detail, it looks amazing with seriously sophisticated and subtle photography, the sound design and the music score is intense and enhances the film and takes it out of the ordinary.
Definitely worth a watch and not you usual rubbish.
Nice writeup! Thanks. It seems not too many have seen it yet.
BTW I just chose The Broken one of my Top 10 film festival indies of the year. I saw 150 films, chose 33 nominees, and then posted my Top 10:
