My review of 'The Broken' at Sundance Film Festival

I attended the World Premiere of The Broken at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Here is my review:

Link doesn't seem to work; all I got was an error message.

Another review is here: http://cinefantastiqueonline.com/2009/01/14/the-broken-after-dark-horr orfest-review

We abandoned that site about 9 months ago and began posting at a new URL. But you can find it here:

(P.S. I guess it was a broken link ;) )

thnx for the review, there are so many festival films it's nice to be able to filter by reading reviews.

...I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side...

Thanks so much. I attend up to 12 festivals a year and see 200-400 films, so it's nice to know someone is able to make those discoveries as I do.

WOW, you liked Cashback? Seriously?

Am I to infer from your comment that you didn't?

Well, I'm certainly not alone. The film has a 7.5/10 here on IMDb with a whopping 15,584 votes, which is pretty exceptional.

It also won the Jury Prize for Best Feature at the Bermuda International Film Festival and the CICAE Award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

Variety gave it a 8/10, Chicago Tribune a 7.5/10, the New York Daily News a 7.5/10, the New York Post a 7.5/10...

You shouldn't be surprised. You're in the distinct minority, not me.
