Loved It and Can't Get Why Some Think It Was 'Incomplete'
Just finished it, and was mesmerized throughout. While the film didn't spoon feed information to the viewer, I found I was able to follow along rather nicely. When it ended, I didn't find myself thinking, "WTF? That's it?" So I am puzzled why I read several comments and reviews complaining about how the film felt "incomplete."
Yes, the filmmakers didn't explain why this is happening, but if they had for instance told us that a satellite crashed, or the planets were in alignment or that someone mixed skim and whole milk while chanting the Lord's Prayer backwards, would that have made the film more enjoyable? I don't get it.
Well, I am glad I don't share that opinion, and look forward to the director's next film, hopefully more horror.
