music wtf
I mean cmon get some taste, eerie (yawn) music totally out of place or context, ruins the movie completely.

Yes this was the most irritating part of the film for me... Every time they did that cliché tension building warbling crescendo sound which never seemed to actually lead to anything of consequence I cringed. Each time they replayed the car crash in slow motion for example. Eerie tension music... louder... louder... nothing. One scene did the same think about 4 times in a row, each leading to the same steaming load of nothing.
Although I can't be sure what response they were trying to elicit from the audience by using that sound time and time again, I'm guessing they probably missed the mark.
The scenes which were mostly in silence were a lot more appealing, like when she goes to look in the mirror and drops the bottle cap and finally gets attacked by her reflection (in a dream of course). No cheesy music, but it might have actually been suitable here.
In contrast, when she goes to see her wrecked car, finds a photo and sees a couple of dogs fighting, it's filled with all kinds of ominous sounds but again nothing happens. Totally out of place.
Very strange musical choices all round.
I don't know about the music in the body of the movie but I think that the music as the end credits roll contains a piece of music overlaid with itself played in reverse. In other words, playing it backwards will be the same as forwards except that the forwards music is louder than the backwards version.
