There is a scene before his girlfriend is killed, where the phone is ringing and she called out for him... and he is presented looking at some paint, like if he wasn't human anymore...
So here is the question...
Do u guys think he was a doppelganger allready and had some kind of trauma not seen at the movie that could explain that scene and the scene at the end when he sees gina?

I think that that's why Gina's brother ran away from her at the end. He knew something was up, had probably either killed or escaped from his girlfriend, and his "other self" just hadn't gotten around to killing him yet. So the brother and the brother's imposter were both alive at the end of the movie.
Excellent movie for some, but I know my husband wouldn't sit through it. I liked it a lot, and will probably watch it again...right after I cover all my mirrors with towels or sheets. Lol
