WOW, those practical effects as she was actually transforming were pretty darn good.
Plus, I know that a lot of those sounds that the Juliette-Thing was making as it was transforming actually did come from Kim Bubbs (she played Juliette) own voice. What did everyone else think of her transformation scene ?
Well... "As she was actually transforming" I think there was plenty of CGI in there.
When she actually became a "Thing" I think that's where the actual practical FX started in and those were great! In fact, most of the monsters looked damn good except the CGI made a lot look very plastic and the whole lack of gore/blood/slime seemed to diminish the whole end product...

If you mean when her chest and shoulder area started tearing open and those tentacles immediately started coming out then yeah, I agree!
