about all the navel gazing drama queens wallowing in self pity and blaming others?
I am up to season 7 now and I am just about nauseated each time I hear Karen freak out over nothing, and scream at Hank, explaining to him why he should feel guilty.
As much as I really wanted Hank to end up with Karen she really started to get on my nerves too. Although I must admit even with all that shi* happening I really loved the series. Some of the episodes were so wonderful, Like California Son and many others. I just loved David in this series.
shareyeah there were funny aspects to it. In fact when Becca hit the road it seemed to get better. I didn't mind Levon much at first, and then I got to like him alright.
The crazy characters were funny. The over the top characters were funny (except Becca and Karen).
I didn't think the last 2 seasons were so bad as so many people did. The subplots were not quite as good as some of the previous ones, but there was still a lot of good comedy there.
The writers just really overdid Karen and Becca and their continual sniping, blaming, naval gazing self pity, and over reactions.
I guess they just couldn't see it at the time, how awful that part was. I've read comments by several people who just gave up on the series because they could not stand it anymore.
