JUST realized why Rob Lowe was in this

I'm in the middle of watching season four now, with Rob Lowe's character interested in Playing Hank Moody, and after catching the roast of Rob Lowe a couple of nights ago and being reminded about his sex tape with a sixteen year old girl (repeatedly), I just realized the connection. Sort of like an inside joke (but not so inside). I'm surprised Rob Lowe even agreed to the character, what with it hitting so close to home and all. But maybe that's what drew him to it, I don't know.
