Todd looked up to Mr. White so much and was like a hero to him. Then to just see him pathetically crying over a DEA agent who was trying to capture and take his family's money. Todd must have been like WTF and is this really Heisenberg?
I don't know but I was embarrassed for Walt when he acted like that. His name is HANK. What? You care about some POS "tough guy" who was trying to send you to jail because of an "illegal" operation as if selling drugs to consenting adults should be illegal in the first place. Hank obviously cared about his job more than Walt, more than family. He wanted to see Walt suffer and emotionally tortured.
It's impossible that Heisenberg would act like that over Hank. In an otherwise brilliant show that has to be the worst episode Ozymandias.
he was not a dead opie eyed bastard for all things. Working with Mr. White and being around Lydia brought noticeable life into his eyes.
Just because he was expressionless about killing a kid doesn't make him incapable of being happy about many things life has to offer. A heroic figure, a good beautiful woman, these are two great pleasures in life.
I was rooting for Todd because he takes a lot of verbal abuse from Jesse and seems like the runt of that group. He was learning to become a man and making a lot of progress into becoming a leader. I think he would have risen to head of the Nazi group and developed a relationship with Lydia as his confidence grew.
No one should ever feel sorry for Todd. He was a POS sociopath and he seemed more confused by Walt's crying than anything else (a testament to his emotionless nature.)
You sound like a parody account for Hippo. Are you? If you are it's working, if not...eh. To respond to your inquiry, no. Todd was one of the characters I definitely didn't feel for at all at any point in the series. He's actually the only "main" character I can say this off (I'm using how the actors were credited here as a guideline for who was a main character. I don't think the actors who portrayed Tuco and Jack for example were ever starring, just recurring.) Lydia wasn't the most sympathetic of characters either, but at least there was something in her that made her feel like a human being.
I loved Todd as a character but as a person he was a POS lol.

Todd was a fascinating and intriguing character for sure. He was so soft spoken and well-mannered, always very polite and respectful but was also a murderous sociopath, quite a combination. I thought he was a great character and wish they would have maybe delved a bit into his past because I'd often find myself wondering how he grew up and turned out that way.
He did have a lot of respect for Walt, but I dont think he actually cared about him. He respected him enough not to kill Skyler and holly when they went and spoke to her, so I guess thats something. But still, of he felt it was necessary he could take a life in an instant as seen a couple times. Even before capping Andrea he is sure to tell her 'just so you know this isn't personal' THAT was some ice cold sh!t there, shooting her just to teach Jesse a lesson. I think if they had just told Jesse that they would kill her if he tried that again, that would have been more than enough for him to cooperate.
Anyways getting off track here, I didnt feel the slightest bit of sympathy for Todd. It was very satisfying watching Jesse choke him with his handcuffs. I love how its right after the guns done unloading and his whole crews shot up, and then Todd looks out the window and goes 'mr. White...gah' choked the f out! Lol I bet Jesse really enjoyed that
