Best Gale singalong: Major Tom or that Spanish song
Just polling to see which of Gale's singles really is the best. Imo it's Major Tom

shareI dont know, I thought he kinda killed it when he sang in that fast high pitched spanish(italian?) song. I bet he would tear it up on karaoke night.
shareWonder how long Gus was standing outside his door, while Gale was singing that one? Gus was probably thinking "What the heck is that sound...is he singing?...this is the guy that's going to take over the lab?...what have I done?".
shareHahah! I never thought of that! God gale was such a dork, poor guy. NOT cut out for that world at all!
Gus probably let out a big sigh, adjusted his tie and knocked on the door while thinking to himself exactly that; what the hell was I thinking? This is my meth cook?!? Lol
I guess good help is hard to find.
They're both awesome but I'll go with the Italian (not Spanish) one. I like the sound of it haha.
Major Tom is funny though, poor Gale, having Hank laugh at him. That song is super old but I will always associate it with Gale. It appeared during a montage scene on The Americans and my mind went directly to Gale haha.

Lol you're hooked on the Americans right now eh? Is it really that good? I might have to check it out.
Btw whats your signature from?
Yeah, I'm obsessed with The Americans! It's the best drama series I have seen since Breaking Bad (counting out Game of Thrones which is awesome, because I think GoT and BB are hard to compare.) It has great characters and there's a lot of emphasis on them struggling internally with what they are doing - something I always appreciated the most about Breaking Bad - but there's also tons of more fast-paced sequences and action. Of course the struggle the characters on The Americans (they are KGB spies, the show's set in DC in the early-1980s) go through is in many ways more understandable even though they do awful things.
I think the recent-ish shows that are most "like" BB are The Americans and House of Cards, but I prefer The Americans. I love the setting and the balance the show manages to strike, much of it is the main characters but there's also tons of scenes taking place at the FBI, at the Rezidentura (the Soviet embassy in DC), sometimes in Moscow. The Russians are actually presented as human beings, who think about the Cold War and fear things like nukes just like the Americans do. And everyone who speaks Russian for more than two sentences actually sounds native, hallelujah.
The quote's from a book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, on which Game of Thrones is based on. It's from a dialogue between Jaime Lannister (who's my favorite) and another character. The other character is questioning Jaime's honor, so he answers (not out loud) that honor is a horse, since that is actually what Jaime named his own horse. It sounds kind of lame explained this way, but Jaime's a very funny dude (in the books.)

They're both awesome but I'll go with the Italian (not Spanish) one.
The song is about an unnamed man whose hair inexplicably falls out ("Crapa Pelada" literally means "bald man") and who becomes despondent and isolated. Pure parallel to Walt's situation.
Ashes to ashes, funk to funky
We know Major Tom's a junkie

Hitting an all-time low - David Bowie, Ashes to Ashes
Nice...Bowie's artistic side - before MTV.
shareI love watching those videos. It's like a short film in the form of music video. :) I'm not a hard core connoisseur of David Bowie but he is a joy to watch and listen, and the world really lost something when he passed.
I rarely get very touched by music videos these days. The most recent one I remember feeling very passionate about and being really freaking gut-punched by was "Take Me To Church" by Hozier. "Lover of The Light" by Mumford Sons featuring Idris Elba was good too. I was really excited about Adele's Hello since it was directed by Xavier Dolan who I adore (even though he is a diva lol) but I wasn't too impressed.
