Pick a Prop

OK, let's say you're working on the BB crew, last day of Production, and VG tells you that you can take any one prop home from the show. What would you take?

Here are a few examples:

- Walt's pork pie hat
- Tuco's grill
- Hector's bell
- Tortuga's head (assuming they have a spare, fake one...)
- Gale's coffee machine
- Marie's purple chair - the one that kept getting moved around
- A 6-pack of Shraderbrau
- The talking pillow
- The pink teddy and it's eyeball
- Saul's scale
- Spooge's ATM
- Gus' box cutter
- Badger's crossbow
- The spoon collection (including the one Marie stole)
- Todd's phone, including ring tones
- Walt's signed copy of Blades of Grass

reply

How about the twin's axe
Jesse's bong
The bottle of booze Gus poisons the cartel guys with
Tuco's knife
Walt jr's crutches lol (assuming they weren't what he used in real life)
Walts apron he wears in the early seasons
One of badger's wool toques
The GPS tracker
The tiara Marie steals and gives to Skyler
The key fob Walt uses for that gun he rigs up in the trunk
Walts thick framed glasses he wears in season 5
Hanks 'mineral' collection...or one of the minerals...Jesus Christ Marie!
The mask that gets stolen from walts science lab inventory at school

So many to choose from! There's a lot of cool props used, some featured much more heavily in the show than others, and many that were integral to the plot.

In the end though, I'd have to go with the pork pie hat, just because its easily the most well known and recognized piece of memorabilia from the show and how cool would it be to be able to brag that you had that! As a bonus I'd maybe try to snag the sunglasses and khaki jacket combo he often wore with the hat! You could go full Heisenberg! Lol

Gales book of lab notes would be cool too, the one hank gets his hands on
Or Jesse's confession DVD...or walts DVD placing the blame on hank
The little automatic vacuum thing Jesse has

So many cool props that were often used as a plot device

Or...make vegan smores.

reply

All good ones. Think I'd go with the authentic, signed book and place it in the bathroom. Expect that would be one of a kind.

Someone obsessed with Lydia might want Todd's coffe cup, with lipstick stain in tact.

reply

Excellent choice, just dont let any dea brother in laws use your John.

Some Jane lover would probably take the smoke butt with her lipstick on it too lol

In the interview with the actor who played Skinny Pete, he said that he wanted to keep the cap he wore in the show. But the producers told him it was slated to possibly go into the Smithsonian. https://youtu.be/d3dzOf8IXFQ?t=2m34s That's the impact of the series and all the props.

The RV

Walt's first car

Gale's coffee maker.

Because the first two would be very unlikely, I would settle for Gale's coffee maker.

LOL! As opposed to Danny Trejo's actual severed head that was used in the scene??? That dude is one tough hombre.

All kidding aside, I'd take the signed copy of "Leaves of Grass." It's an American classic as well as a very cool prop.

The teddy bear.

Wait a minute... who am I here?

reply

That would be my choice too...the book, not the head.

Such a key prop...finding it cost so many so much.

reply

I can't believe no one said Walt's pork pie hat. It's classic.

I did lol but id also try to snag that khaki jacket and those wraparound sunglasses...id go out dressed as heisenberg just to mess with people, though I suppose id need to grow a goatee for the full affect. I already have a buzz cut but I'm not bald or as some would prefer to call it, streamlined lol

Though if I had the full ensemble, I might be tempted to start cooking meth haha

Saul Goodman’s inflatable Statue of Liberty would look mighty fine on my roof.

Now we're talking.

The porkpie hat would be great, if there was a way to show there was only one and you had the original. Would like to think there was only one book with the authentic note to Walt in it.

Then again, the lab book had lots of good stuff in it, including the layout of the lab...that would be good.

But yeah, I'm liking that blow up. Could put the one used in BCS next to it...the one they used in the montage when Saul was trying to get fired.
