Although the series ended perfectly I wish Walt was alive cancer free and shown being released from prison after serving 10 years just so I could put myself back into this make believe world again for another 5 seasons following Heisenberg and pinkman who want to start cooking again or any type of story cause I need this drug back into my life
shareSeason 5 was entertaining, but I still believe the show peaked with the end of season 4, and that THAT actually made a better ending.
shareI just re-watched the entire series - except for the last few episodes after Hank is killed. I agree that it would have been good to end it after Season 4. The final season had too many things that seemed unrealistic. It seemed a bit contrived at times.
Still, this is one of my favorite shows ever.
Ending the show at S4 would have been retarded. If anything, I think it ended too early. Right when they got to the most interesting plotline - Walt becoming Albuquerque's #1 meth kingpin, Walt vs Hank, etc. - they accelerated through it when they could have easily gotten at least two seasons worth out of it.

I don't think nor do I hope Breaking Bad will ever be continued. It ended perfectly in my opinion, and continuing an old series is always hit and miss. I just found out they are re-booting Prison Break. What?? Why?

And they're not even including Mahone in the reboot!!!! Sacrilege! Insult to injury, salt on the wound, yadda yadda.
(If they at least threw me a bone in the form of Gretchen I'd still be lured into watching. But no Mahone, no Gretchen, no interest.)
