Marie always in purple & the baby always wearing a hat.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I wonder if there is any significance?

Marie always wearing purple (unless she was in her work uniform) was almost distracting to me at some points, not to mention their house was heavily purple also. I think there was only one scene in the last season where she wasn't wearing purple.

And Holly almost always wearing a hat was kind of weird too.

Gilligan said purple was Hank's favorite color, hence she's always wearing it. Also why she isn't wearing it in the finale, because Hank is dead.

No clue why Holly always wore the cap. They probably just thought it looked cute.

Really? Thats unexpected. I figured it was just part of the color theme they used throughout the show like hank and gomez often wearing orange, oddly to represent law enforcement (never really got that). I know they started having Walt wear darker colors and shades as the series progressed, similar to how his character became progressively darker. Jesse often wore yellow unless he was in recovery, then he wore grey. Theres some others I'm not thinking of too.

But colors were used throughout the show for specific characters and I'm surprised that a macho guy like hank was so fond of purple, even having a majority of his home decorated with it. I figured that was all Marie and he just put up with it lol

I never really understood walts flamingo pink sweater in that one episode either. Didnt really fit in with his usual attire. That particular pink was so bright it almost hurt my eyes to look at lol

And there's wrong with guys liking or wearing these colors btw, before anyone assumes thats what I'm saying, I'm guilty of wearing them too from time to time.

Okay not really that flamingo pink one lol

I think the pink matched the pink teddy. He was wearing during the plane crash.

Another color used was the yellow camera filter used whenever the twins were on screen, outside.

Good eye! Yeah that would definitely make sense I believe that never crossed my mind. I was too busy thinking 'who the hell thought that sweater was a good look?' LOL the teddy bear explains that perfectly, a little bit of fun foreshadowing I guess you could say. Nice find!

Yes I noticed that, they even used that filter in the flashback scene with the twins as kids when they receive a valuable life lesson from tio. Man that was a badass scene. So good!

They also used the same filter, or maybe an orange one when Gus and max meet with tio and don eladio in that flashback scene in Mexico.

I cant believe it never occurred to me about that sweater/teddy connection lol

Different babies were used for the show. The hat was to hide that.

during s4 & s5 a lot of ppl on the board said it meant Marie was going to die
