Could Mike Have Had A Bomb Strapped To Walt's Car?

Something I've always thought about. The scene where Walt meets with Gus, Mike, and Victor in the desert after Walt runs over the 2 dealers. Walt pulls up and talks to Mike. Mike tells him "I can kill you from way over here, if I want." How would mike have accomplished this?

They were about a half a mile away so convential arms would have been ineffective. And Mike likes precision so I doubt he would have gotten out wildly firing a machine and risking Walt getting away, that's not Mike's style. Maybe a sniper rifle, but he wouldn't have been able to set up with a sniper rifle and line it up for a clear shot before Walt saw what he was doing then hightailing it out of there.

So I think there was a bomb on Walts car. Maybe mike or one of Gus' other men covertly placed it on Walt's car the night before. And if Mike wanted all he would have had to do was flick a switch.

Or Maybe Mike was just bluffing...

Don't think he literally means he could kill him at that distance, that very second.

Just means - "Walt, it doesn't matter if you park way over there or want confirmation that we won't hurt you. If we want to hurt/kill you, we will, eventually, and there's nothing you can do about it".

I think it was just a random threat by Mike that probably shoudn't be overanalyzed. Like Swolbach said, he was telling Walt he could get to him anytime he wanted.
