Aren't comedies supposed to be funny?

Because this show isn't.

reply

I agree, this show is made for the average American mid-wit.

reply

Or maybe it's just a show that makes people happy even if they don't find it funny.

reply

You watch Hallmark Christmas movies, lol. Get over yourself.

reply

Unfunniness didn't stop Will And Grace from making it beyond one episode

reply

Never seen enough of it to criticize.

reply

I thought it had some funny parts.

reply

Kowalski has funny parts.

reply

I enjoy his funny parts.

reply

I thoroughly enjoyed the series.

reply

Did you actually find it funny or just enjoyable? There's stuff I don't find funny but I enjoy it because it's fun.

reply

Both.

reply

me too .

People would be happier if they tried to like things rather than tried to find fault, still - their loss.

reply

I found some of the writing quite clever and it made me laugh, so job done.

reply

I love this show. I have enjoyed it (I still do) a lot. Of course, not every joke was funny and some of these " canned laughter " were really superfluous, but I can still smile watching Howard Wolowitz & Company.

reply

This show is beyond hilarious! it's witty, charming, and has a load of awesome characters. Typical woke generation can't appreciate comedy brilliance.

reply

What is so anti-woke about this?

reply

Howard treating women like objects and his Indian jokes to Raj, perhaps?

Maybe the moment where all the women told Penny that her short hair was ugly was anti-woke. Women, and especially attractive women, should be forbidden to have short hair.

reply

I haven't seen this show enough to know plot lines and jokes, but this doesn't seem like it crosses the line.

reply

who is the woke generation ?
and what makes them woke?

reply

Usually, they mean Gen Y (millennials) and Gen Z when then say that. This show was pretty much written for millennials, and maybe the younger Gen X.
