an observation (spoilers)

I finally got to see this movie on Netflix.....such an understatedly beautiful love story!

I'm watching it again for the....er, 5th? time now, and I just caught this part of the scene where they are on the train for Alexandria, and I had to share it.

They are talking about Tareq watching television, and he says that he watches it "late.....at night.......when I can't sleep." The scene prior to this is when he kissed her....so I'm not sure if we are meant to assume it is the following day or if a few days have passed. But I just thought it was a subtle implication that he could not sleep because he was thinking of her, and that brief stolen kiss was keeping him awake.

I have been trying to catch a proper, clear glimpse of Juliette's cartouche, and try to decipher it....but maybe it's best that I can't, because I think that maybe it really is Tareq's name.

Anyway....I just thought I'd share my little revelation there of the train scene. I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned it anywhere on this discussion board. But I just wanted to share it with some people who were also perhaps fans.
