Will she contact Tareq again?

Will she love her husband as much as before?

Will she be able to go back to her hyper-busy, workaholic life?

I think she might have to make some changes.

reply

No, yes, yes. It was a magnificent interlude.

Will Tareq contact Yazmeen? I hope so. That would make sense, despite the barriers.

And say what....I'm in Egypt this week end was wondering could we have lunch... sorry just being humorous. I bet she will have a talk with her husband though. remember she was the one that was busy as well as her husband being gone. These two need to sort out there lives. Was what I took out of this film more than anything else. it could have been any man as nice as he was. he just made her realize that there is more to life.

interesting.

I just watched this film again and felt the movie really did not even attempt to show these two people were going to see each other after she left, if you view the film it was all about there is more to life then waiting on her husband to come home and her job shouldn't be her life. I would assume the couple will talk about going on or go separate way or maybe even retire together but certainly not back to the same old routine.

For me the movie was a failure. I saw no chemistry between the leads. I loved the male lead and wish he could have been in a better film.

Will they see each other again? Alas, it doesn't matter because their characters never came to life.

In short, no.

sort out THEIR lives. Not 'there' lives.

I'd hope that Tariq renewed his relationship with Yasmine now that her daughter is married.

I'd also hope that Juliette and Mark would re-evaluate their lives and their marriage and would change a few things, grow closer again and going on to make their lives better than ever.

reply

I like that ending. I think that makes the most sense. I think that Juliette and Tariq experienced one of those special moments that happen when you allow yourself to be swept away but it's not something that is meant to last.

I don't think anyone has ever died saying, "Gee, I wish I had spent more time at the office." They will find someone else and continue on without you. No one is indespensible.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

May be she'll change or may be she won't. Some people push an experience like Cairo aside when they're back to familiar territory and resume or may be even put more into their past/current lives rather than change. Of course we romantics would like to think that she will change, but people rarely do.
