I can see why this one never saw theatrical release.. saw this one on The Movie Channel and I still want my money back! I should be reimbursed for my time if nothing else
This, along with "Rest Stop" and that Michelle Rodriguez movie with the dogs must form the holy trinity of crap.. seriously who funds these things?
You've definetly missed some of the crap from this year. Or did you actually like Wrong Turn 2, Kaw, Night Junkies, Primeval? But sense both Rest Stop and The Breed are from last year, maybe you liked Crow - Wicked Prayer, Stay Alive, Simon Says, Slither, The Visitation, The Thirst or the terrible, terrible, terrible ('cause one terrible just isn't enough) re-makes of The Omen and The Wicker Man? Just asking... This wasn't so bad, a lot worse out there
Unfortunately (fortunately?) I missed most of those.. Stay Alive was bad, but at least it was so bad it was good (if you catch my drift).. the Omen remake was bad, but that little kid had more acting chops than the entire cast of Dead Mary combined, so I gotta let it slide..
Dont touch Wrong Turn 2. To understand what is the worst horror movie of the year you should see Days of Darkness (2007). This is sooo stupid and cheap... :) just see this
I’m sorry but isn't movies supposed to entertain? And Dead Mary entertained, and I'm sure any horror movie enjoyer would enjoy a movie like Dead Mary not only because of the low budget costs but also how they presented this movie to be a bit different than the other movies we see today, for example remakes and bad PG13 movies that really suck. Dead Mary was good and Slither was great because it had humour and the cheesiness that most movies are lacking these days.
It cannot get any worse than this. Period. I only wish I had a nuke ignition key when this film was first allowed to be screened in public let alone released DVD.
