Town that Bully was based in?

Obviously the town Bully takes place in is a fictional New England town, but does anyone have any idea if the game developers were modeling it after any town in specific?

Maybe you've seen a town like this in Maine or Massachusetts?

reply

Nope, it's just a stereotypical New England town.

Who can take you higher than a twin peak mountain blue?

Probably somewhere in Connecticut if I were to guess. It's the part of New England where poor people and rich people rub against each other the most.

Sometimes, Just Somtimes, the joke's on you.

Judging by the topography I would say Maine.

I'm attending a boarding school in Western Maine... Parts of life and the school here remind me of bully. First thing I thought of when I was dropped off haha.

According to some early promo, the author states "...in a small New Hampshire town..."

However, the town of Bulworth is very similar to Houlton, Maine. Everytime I visit there, I keep expecting Jimmy riding down the street on his skate board any second.

I have El Sonoma del Torra de Fiero Syndrome. Be happy you don't. Trust me.

As a New Englander, (Bay Stater to be specific) I could never tell it's in New England! Could someone give me some hints/clues/references/whatever it's in New England...?

"This is good... Isn't it?"

The original game files have dialogue where characters confirm the school is in New Hampshire. But none of this is in the final game. As someone else said, a promo for the beta described the setting as a “small New Hampshire town” or something like that, though sometimes those promos arent even made by the people who made the game.

I always believed the game was set in southwest Maine on the coast. Maybe where the real life town of York, Maine is?
