yeah, i didn't like it either, none of the characters worked for me except for Simmons' character

Malkovich i feel like i'd seen this character before, probably in Being John Malcovich, he seems to be playing the same character lately: the angry middle age guy who always yelling

Pitt was spectacularly unfunny in this, really bad performance

in a way this movie reminded me of Pulp Fiction, especially after Pitt's character gets shot by Clooney, which was very reminiscent of Bruce Willis shooting Travolta

I thought so too at first, but it's grown into one of my favorites of their work, even if it borrows from Hopscotch.
