young girl.
There was a young girl with long dark hair in the store at one point then she just vanished. Not even those looking after the boy mentioned her(or looked after her). What Happened?

shareI thought the exact same thing. All the main characters were very protective over the boy why not the girl.
I assume she and her father joined Mrs. Carmody's cult.
shareI think your probably right. Though I would have thought that David would try to appeal to the father's parental instincts to try to convince him to help them.
Especially when they were trying to sacrifice David's son, the girls father could probably have been easily persuaded to turn against the cult as he wouldn't have liked the idea that his daughter might be next.
But so long as they sided with Mrs. Carmody, they were safe from being sacrificed. She wasn't sacrificing her own members. So if he was wise, and really wanted to protect his daughter, he would side with the majority, rather than put his daughter at risk by siding with David's group, who clearly weren't very popular by that point.
shareGood point, your right that would probably be the wisest way to protect his daughter. Though when the sacrifice didn't work with the 'sinners' they probably would have tried sacrificing the 'pure' children from their cult.
shareYeah. That girl's "Screaming Mother" (Dodie Brown) was hot, so I noticed her early on. She joined Carmody's cult but about that time, her little girl disappeared. Maybe she had to go to the set class when those scenes were shot?
Anyway, with all the plot holes, character goofs, and turnabouts, this seemed a minor oversight.
