Ok ive loved this show ever since ive been watching it im at episode 25 now and it might be the best anime ive ever seen but what did that weird foot massage scene meen i don't wanna sound ignorannt but it looked kinda like a romantic thing. It's not that it bothers me but why would they put it in the anime like for what reason. Like just because or did this mean something cause it looked like it did. Id like too know others peoples oppinons on this cause it didn't look like some meaningless scene.
Oh and sorry if my english is bad haha

It was a homage to a Christian tradition in which Jesus's followers washed his feet to show their love and belief towards their savior. L was doing it to mock Light, as he realized that he was Kira and that he would die soon. He was mocking Light for being a 'god'

Why was their bacon in the soap?!?!

Er, other way around. Jesus washed the disciples' feet. His feet eye washed by a woman who used her tears and perfume

I don't think L was not mocking Light. Jesus washed Judas' feet before Judas betrayed him. This is a subtle way to tell L knew Light was Kira. He just couldn't prove it.
