Van Sant has been named the new director of the possible Warner Bros. adaptation. My friend thinks it's going to be a disaster, but I see potential.

shareGood point. But to be fair, he's directed a lot of good independent films as well.
shareAll I'm really familiar with are the Psycho remake and Good Will Hunting. I've never seen anything else that I know of. I dunno, apparently he's a good director so we'll have to wait and see. It'll either be really good or really bad.
