The new Death Note live-action series on NTV

Hello.

I wanted to ask if anyone has seen yet the new live-action series of Death Note currently airing on NTV in Japan? Death Note (2015)
I'm going to see it soon, but for what I've read and heard, I don't think I will like it as much as the manga and anime (or even the first 2 movies).

Anyone has any comments?

Yes I seen eight episodes so far on Crunchyroll. Light's character is different more of a social outcast. L is a closer to the original but some mannerisms are different. The storyline is more or less the same but they strayed off in the last episode. Don't want to give anything away in case you decide to watch it.
