I really liked the whole anime. It was one of the best for me. But still there was one thing.
After 25th episode it become a bit less interesting and in the end he just made such silly mistake which didn't suit him . I agree he become a bit over confident but still it wasn't like him.
He could have write death of everybody there in the warehouse excluding him. Or use Misa again or have Mikami check the notebook while coming.
That ending was just to show that Light is evil and Good always win against Bad. Even in that case they should have make it better.

No. Your suggestions are just dumb.

Isn't that what the other dude did? Light couldn't right it on his own because he didn't had the notebook

What for? He already had Mikami to kill them. She wasn't gonna make any diference. And she had no memories of being the second Kira and he had no time to explain everything to her.

Again? The did check it. Near went into a LOT of trouble to deceive them.

Light just got outplayed that time, you can't win them all. I liked the ending. I liked the show in general

Light couldn't right it on his own because he didn't had the notebook

He could have saved a piece of paper like before. HE could have wrote an accident which kill everybody there except him.

What for? He already had Mikami to kill them. She wasn't gonna make any diference. And she had no memories of being the second Kira and he had no time to explain everything to her.

If she touched the notebook again all of her memories will be back so he didn't have to explain much.

The did check it. Near went into a LOT of trouble to deceive them.

HE should have checked it while coming to warehouse. It was just plain dumb.
Again Light got excited even before the result.It's just look dumb how he react at that time.
Near didn't give that much of a challenge to Light so it was not the best ending. If this was the ending they should have include a few more episodes and show the intelligence of Near which can match that of L and Light.
For me Near never show the potential to match the class of light.

That's my point at no point Near outclass Light. The match b/w light and L was great but Near and Light never came to that point. It look like they just wanted to end the show quickly.

It was a excellent ending I think light put to much trust in others which started to back fire on him simple as that besides it was pretty much set in stone something bad was going to happen

I always viewed pride being the flaw that eventually took Kira down: all the problems could have been averted if he had just traded for the shinigami eyes but he thought his life was too important for that.
