what happens when the death note runs out of pages?
or does it "magically " add pages as they are written (or extracted)?
but if it does, it should become thicker over time...

It is one of the unwritten rules that the Death Note never runs out of pages.
shareI figure it's self-replenishing. I mean, we're talking about a notebook that kills people whose names are written on it. The notion that it could replenish itself isn't too far-fetched after that.
"The comfort of the rich depends upon an abundant supply of the poor."
- Voltaire
It must be self-replenishing. Six years of killing and ripped pages would require more then a regular notebook could suppy.
shareFor all their amazing ideas and explanations of the rules I was amazed that they never addressed that glaring issue.
You'd feel cocky too if you were full of myself.
Yep, it seemed like they flashed a lot of meaningless rules in certain episodes, understanding this one would've been more helpful, as it crossed my mind a few times as well.
shareyes, it replenish itself
there're death note rules written @ the beginning of the manga's chapter
A Death Note cannot be detected with the help of any human test.
