When will series/season 9 be shown/streamed in the USA?

That's my whole question. Season 8 is available on Amazon Prime, and that's the last one.

According to PBS, Lewis will be shown on Masterpiece Mystery beginning August 7. I'm assuming that after the episodes air, the dvd will be made available for purchase and the series will eventually make it's way to Amazon Prime. Such a long wait for this series!

i saw part 1 of season 9 and then nothing !!! i am SO glad that i only have to wait a few weeks !!!

I just saw the first ad on my local PBS station saying final season coming soon. I already set my DVR to grab it as soon as it shows, in case I miss the next ad. I'm going to miss this show, like Foyle, I think it still had legs.

Still, better to quit now than a long drawn out death like Midsommer is going thru.

Only hope I have now is Inspector George Gently shows up, and Vera gets some life breathed back into it.
