I am trying to remember the title of a Lewis episode, during which Lewis meets an attractive blonde woman who asks him if he is one of the "pierce and ping" brigade, that is, does he rely heavily on microwaved meals? I cannot remember anything else of the episode, and was wondering whether anyone could name it for me Thanks very much.

shareI'm not positive but I think it might have been in the pilot episode called "Reputation". He ran into the blonde sleep doctor, Kate Jekyll, in the grocery store, I believe near the frozen meal section. I think one of them mentioned "pierce and ping" in reference to the frozen meals and what Robbie had in his basket. I'll try to watch the DVD and see if I'm correct.

shareThat's correct. Officially it doesn't have a title. It's just Lewis or at worst Lewis: Pilot.
I guess it was renamed a couple of years or so back for the US market.
The lady in question is Lizzie McInnerny, who is the sister of Tim McInnerny, better known as Lord Percy / Captain Darling from the Blackadder Series.
