Yes, I´ve just found this BBC series! The link was Douglas Henshall who is Alex Ganza in 5 season.
In one week I saw season 1 and 2. BBC has delivered such a great crime show (again)! Lewis and Hathaway are such good characteres and Oxford is perfectI! Well done!
ITV, not BBC. The BBC would have canned Lewis after three series and would never have made Morse in the first place.
Great though Beeb drama is, Lewis and the whole Colin Dexter canon is very much the Jewel in ITV's Crown.

I havent see the "Morse searies" (it will be my next weekend job :-), but Lewis/Hathaway are very good. Diferent generation, equal reserve and profissionalism. And a great sense of humor!
If Laurence Fox return to acting I think, with the right projects, he may enter the A-list (I dont like the term but you know what I mean), if thats what he wants.
