finally, a brick drops on his head when he at last acknowledges laura and finally starts romancing her...this series would have been so much better if this occurred at the onset..

personally i don't find the romantic angle all that interesting. I would sooner Lewis's wife hadn't been bumped off so we could skip all that. the relationship between Lewis and hathaway is of more interest to me.
