Just my conclusion

Just finished E&D. I found this TV series more or less accidentally and watched the first couple of episodes and eventually finished the series in a couple of days.
The earthy humor was great and I often just stared at the screen and thought "what an a**hole" about Kenny. Danny McBride played that role just perfect (at least I hope it's just a role ;)
The appearences of Will Ferrell and Jason Sudeikis were hilarious.

Season I was by far the best in my opinion, II and III were goog/not bad, but you could guess that the level of season I would not be reached again.
Unlike many others, I was disappointed with season IV.
Yes, maybe the series reached another level, becoming more drama than comedy, but you could predict that Kenny just can't have enough and botch it with his job and family.

The best ending in my opinion could have been at two points in season III's finale: if you want it more dramatic or maybe depressing, I would have ended it with the moment just before his third pitch in his Major League debut. Yes, he just reached his dream of making a comeback, but maybe he lost his family forever.

The other, more funny ending would be the first meeting with April after his staged death. After she tells him that he just could have stayed in the Majors and Tobey and her could have come with him, the stupid expression on his face would be a perfect ending for me. Again, he's just a "normal" man, but he learned his lesson and realized what's precious in life.

Note: English isn't my first language, I hope it wasn't too lousy. And sorry for the length of this post.
