Season 1 to Season 4

Season 1 was pure comic gold. Every moment of every episode was amazing.

Season 2 was meh...

Season 3 was ok...

Season 4 was horrible.

They should have stopped after the first season.

What a shocking pile of garbage this show became.

No, season 4 was the second best season after season 1.

Season four was completely depressing. Kenny Powers just stopped being cocky, cool and uncaring. He became a boring person.

Season 4 was full of drama along with the humor, and I loved it. Took the show to a whole other level. My favorite season. Can't believe anyone could dislike it

For me, Season 2 was the best. Season 3 was the worst. Seasons 1 and 4 were in the middle.

For me it goes season 3 as the best then season 1 followed by season 4 and the worst was season 2.

1, 4, 3, 2.

That's how I rank the seasons, too.

I think Season 1 had the perfect mixture of comedy and story. If they had kept that balance better I would have enjoyed the later seasons more.

Season 2 was hilarious though. They turned up Kenny's attitude, but it hadn't worn thin yet.

In the last 2 seasons, it was impossible to root for him anymore. Their formula of "Have Kenny do outrageous things then knock him down a few pegs through an incident so that he can be felt bad for and rooted for again" wasn't working anymore and it took away from the show for me.

It reminded me of how in Season 4 of House they took his abrasive side too far too often. Sure we enjoy seeing it, but if you make it 90 percent of what the character is then it's out of balance.

I liked season 2 the most, then 1 and 3 up on the same level. Season 4 was also a bit weaker, I would rather have liked Kenny do another strange move to revive his baseball career. But it rewarded us with a great final episode.
