I'm really not sure I'm going to start the second. It didn't make me feel good. Not even ok. Made me laugh a couple times but with the music choices (good music btw) at the end of the eps....just kind of made me sad. Not good to watch late are night before going to bed.
shareEastbound and Down is definitely a darker Comedy and has some depressing moments/goes in dark places but always redeems itself with funny scenes that play off those darker scenes which makes it unique and why it has such a cult following. If you were expecting another feel good sit com type show, East Bound is not it, it funnier, raunchier, and takes more chances.
Watch the second season, it is much more fun and not nearly as dark as the first, Kenny is in Mexico and it is just very different from the first season and better in my opinion. The second season really made me a fan because it was such a interesting and different turn/setting for Kenny.
I agree.season two was better and as I posted in another thread, chapter 12 was a great normal episode. Give it more time. I'm ready for season 3
shareFunny thing is I started off on season 2 years ago when it was still premiering. I still enjoyed it alot. Guess that's why season 2 is my favorite haha.
