I'm totally in love with Jane Austen. Does anyone know if there are any other movies loosely revolving around her works. I don't mean strict adaptation of the novels.

Clueless is based on Emma, I didnt know this until recently and I watched Clueless again and its so obvious!
Bridget Jones is based on P + P and Bridget Jones 2 is based on Persuasion.
There a lots of books that are a modern adaptation of Austen classics - Persuading Annie and Acting Up bth by Melissa Nathan, Me and Mr Darcy (if you liked the film you will love this book) by Alexandra Potter.. I'll try and think of more!
Wow..You're right! I didn't realize about clueless either! And although Bridget Jones was predictable, I didn't realize that the 2nd part was based on Persuasion! Thankyou for the suggestions too :)

I don't know if this is really what you are looking for, but there's Becoming Jane. That's about Jane Austens life and there's also Bride and Prejudice which is a bollywood adaption of Pride and Prejudice

I really liked Lost in Austen. I also heard that Sam Mendes is remaking it, since it was a 4 part miniseries.

Maybe because I was nitpicking errors in the film.
I felt it was shallow, lost the delight of the dialogue and the characters weren't very well developed.
It was a great idea, I just don't think it was executed as well as it could have.
