Great Halloween movie

I don't really consider it a horror, and it's unique in that regard. I think they try for spooky versus scary, and it works. I just discovered this movie this year, and I'm sure the family will watch this every year around this time in the future.

I would call it horror simply because there are so many horror elements throughout. But I think the makers did a fine job of making it creepy without going overboard with the gore.
