I swear, watching this flick is exactly like watching the R rated version of "Are yiu afraid of the dark" on Nickelodeon. Granted, I was young, but I recall that show having a similar tongue in cheek tone. Does anybody that remembers that show feel the same way?

I didn't notice the tongue and cheek tone, but both tell a good story at a rapid rate.
