Elite Squad 1 > 2
As I was going through my hard disc, I noticed Elite Squad 2 and I couldn’t remember a single thing about the film but as I re-watched both films recently I understood why.
Elite Squad 2 is much grander in scope but I couldn’t care less about any of the side characters like the politicians and television hosts and it lacks the focus of the first film.
Elite Squad 1 is an intense and edge of your seat thriller from start to finish and probably the best film from Brazil since the OG City of God (2002).
