The narration is in Maltese??

Did anyone else notice how the narration was not in Portuguese but rather Maltese? There's no explanation to why this is? Or was there... and I missed it?

My DVD from Netflix had Portuguese on it, heavily accented Carioca Portuguese. I wonder if someone will make a movie about the Sao Paulo Military Police's Ronda Ostensiva Tobias de Aguiar (ROTA), the Sao Paulo version of the BOPE. They are known for being extremely violent.

My native language happens to be Maltese since I live in Malta. There is no part of the film that's in Maltese. I just saw the film yesterday and I needed English subtitles throughout. I really liked the movie. Such a good script, I was thinking. After the movie I realised it was the same writer of City of God and director of Bus 174. All great films.

I'm brazillian, and it was pure Portuguese.
