Would he just stop leading Alpha team or would he leave all together? I can't imagine him quitting BOPE altogether.

He seemed too young to retire to me. But his nerves were shot. Maybe he took an administrative position?

he was clearily talking about quitting "the battalion" - wich I suppose it meant BOPE. So one can assume he still stayed with the MPs but a less stressful job.

retiring from the streets. moving to a desk job in inteligence or tacticals. that's what it means.
