It's a good show but it has a repetitive plotline

Almost every episode is like this: Phineas says I know what we're going to do today, Isabella says wat'cha doin, Phineas says Hey, where's Perry Candace says Phineas and Ferb you are so busted. But at least this show is a little better than the other shows they show on Disney.

The fun of the show is that they know they're using a formula and the writers play with this format as often as they can. For instance, "Hail, Doofania" is an episode where the typical roles of Phineas and Ferb and Doofenshmirtz are reversed. It starts out at Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. and then switches to the boys in the backyard. You could say the catalyst for this was the switching of the girls' dry cleaning.

Those are all done intentionally. Its subtle and witty; just another one of the things that makes the show fun for adults.

you keep using that word "subtle", it does not mean what you think it means.

Agreed...but the funny thing is, I still enjoy the humor of it all immensely.

You left out a few things in the formula...the invention disappears (usually by Doof's evil scheme device), Candace looks like an idiot in front of mom, and mom offers snacks.
