Guilty Pleasure.....how old are the fans?

I'm 17 and love this show! this and the replacements! i couldn't believe it! i just happen to watch it and i was laughing the whole time! now i cn't get enough of it. i tend to always laugh at the Agent P plots cause the funniest character is Dr. Doofenshmirtz makes the best jokes!

i have to say my fave plot has to be when Dr. Doofenshmirtz got a new nemesis the panda bear! and they went on the show ike maury! i couldn't stop laughing, really creative!

i feel super old watching both shows. but i can't help what i like!

I'm 51 (yes, that's right, I was born in 1957) and I think "Phineas and Ferb" is one of the funniest, cleverest things on TV.

I'm 40 and love the show. I watch with my kids all the time. I want to get a ringtone for my cell phone of Isabella going "whatcha doin".

reply

nothing wrong with that!
15 month old son who loves the monkeys of playhouse disney and then mom and dad (32 and 39) stick around to watch Phineas and Ferb :) We even DVR some of the episodes and love the song from Flopstarz

OH MY GOD!!! what is wrong with you people, this is a show for KIDS. you guys really need to get lives if all you do is sit arouind and watch Phineas and Ferb all day. you may use the excuse "I watch it with my kids" but that is no excuse.

I'm 24 with two children and I think Phineas and Ferb is absolutely brilliant. the best kids show on tv today, alongside spongebob.

43 years old. I find the scripting to be wonderful and the songs to be outstanding- better than any musical numbers on "Family Guy" (short of Stewie doing Shatner's version of "Rocket Man")

Kids or no kids, this is the one to watch. I'm waiting for the CD with all the songs on it.

reply

As per Seth Macfarland, Dan Provmire had a hand in all the musical numbers on the "Family Guy". The Group interview is on Utube, if you like see it.look up Dan's name plus family Guy.

reply

To paraphrase Phineas, "Why, no. No, it's not." It's NOT for kids bryanross1985. In fact creator Dan Povenmire said, "we just didn't eliminate kids as an audience." I believe Povenmire and Marsh used to write for FAMILY GUY! That's hardly a kids' show. The humor is very sophisticated and there are references to movies and tv kids wouldn't have seen, e.g. Rocky Horror Picture show (Gelatin Monster) and Gillian's Island.

With all the garbage being offered on TV, Phineas and Ferb is brilliantly written and doesn't insult my intelligence. I'll anticipate your next question: I'm 39 and have a genius level IQ.

reply

34 here and my son got me hooked on Phineas and Ferb :) Then again, I have always loved cartoons and we also LOL @ Kid vs Kat together.

<<The humor is very sophisticated and there are references to movies and tv kids wouldn't have seen, e.g. Rocky Horror Picture show >>

Considering that "Dad" is voiced by RiffRaff (also the gentleman that wrote RHPS), I surprised there aren't more references to that show LOL

You sound like a hypocrite. Were you trying to quote someone in the second paragraph?

I'm 23 and I am a huge fan. I got the perry noise as my ringtone.

reply

I'm 40 something and started watching because my kids like it. It's great of course and I can say that it's among the best cartoons on TV but that actually short changes its real value.

Typically when I get to surf the channels in search of something more intelligent and grown up, this show oddly still beats alot of the other choices we adults are "offered" (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC to name a few mindless channels).

reply

I'm a twenty-something and I love this show. Clever and entertaining with great songs! It's up there on my top ten list of best cartoon shows with Fillmore and Pepper Ann.I was a big Dexter's Laboratory fan but that show stopped being fun and the episodes became unwatchable.

19. It's the only show worth watching on Disney Channel.

I'm 28 and LOVE the show so much that I am the administrator of a Phineas and Ferb Wiki. We're trying to build an encyclopedia of information about the show from an in-the-show point of view. We're always looking for new fans to contribute and it's always nice to have more mature writers on some of the more complicated articles. Even if you don't want to contribute, it's a great place for things like finding out which episode the boys became one-hit wonders ("Flop Starz!") or the episode where Doofenshmirtz builds Norm ("Greece Lightening"). It's becoming an awesome fan resource and we're hoping to get even better, but we need all the help we can get. If you visit, feel free to visit my talk page and leave me a message. My username there is the same as here.

Okay, so I come to this and look how old people are and I figured it'd all be like 10, 11, 12 sort of thing. I'm 14 so I felt quite pathetic. But now I see I'm the youngest! I dont blame any of you I think this a good show, my fave cartoon besides South Park which I can't watch when I'm babysitting, I do watch this with kids though, and by myself. I even downloaded a few episodes on iTunes. This show is really good if you haven't watched it and post after me, watch it!

I'm 13. I like it so much, my cell phone signature is 'P&F Rox!!!!!' Except with more exclamation points. Oh, and the theme song's on my MP3 player. Plus, there's not that many, if any, episodes I've not seen. The creepiest thing-I actually wrote a script for fun at home. Never sent it in, though, so don't expect to see it.

reply

You should post your script in story form at fanfiction.net... theres loads of stories there made by fans...

Don't count on it. The makers of TV shows routinely have policies not to accept such submissions for fear of intellectual property claims in the event somebody has a parallel development of an idea they use from their own writers.
