This movie holds up amazingly well. NY battle scene still blows me away

Even after a sequel and multiple other Marvel movies, this is still the one they aspire to. That scene where they "assemble" still gives me a shiver. Great movie.

I'm the opposite. Every time it's on I like it less and less.

But you keep watching it again and again anyway.

He can't help it. DC fanbois are programmed to watch Marvel movies to find any flaw they can and then trash the movie while sucking off Nolan.

reply

And you do exactly the opposite right?:D

reply

Two of my all-time favorite movies are Superman (1978) and Batman (1989). I liked Batman Begins and Man of Steel. I watch Flash, Supergirl and Legends. I didn't like The Incredible Hulk and thought the first Thor movie was a bit rushed.

This is called "objectivity", something no DC fanboi and/or Nolantard can comprehend.

reply

Cool so we are on the same boat...

But I think that DC fanboy MCU fanboy...those fanatics with no life are the same thing though...same level of pathetic

reply

The funny thing is, I for sure believe there are Marvel fanboys, but they aren't nearly as bad as DC fanboys. Most every Marvel fanboy has had a few DC movies they've liked. DC fanboys / Nolanties refuse to give any credit to Marvel.

Nope quite the opposite. I am a Nolan fan and I can openly admit he gets his ass kicked by the MCU when it comes to fight scenes. The MCU has terrific fight scenes in this Civil war as well as Winter Solder.

There is a difference between being a Nolan fan and being a Nolanite. Just being a fan does not automatically make you a delusional, Nolan worshiping freak who "thinks" his god can do no wrong.

Or get this there are stupid people in every aspect of life. There are stupid Nolan fans and there are smart Nolan fans. There are stupid and smart MCU fans and vice verse. These official labels you have prove that you yourself are not that bright.

And that proves you are an idiot.

Oh no you have done a fine enough job making yourself look ignorant. People like you make it so easy it's pretty sad honestly.

Out of the two of us, which one of us stalked the other from a DC movie board to a Marvel movie board? 

Because up until an hour ago, you had never posted on this board at all.

I still disagree but ok :D
There is no way saying which group of annoying nit-pickers is bigger...

Great movies do that to you.

reply

It's only been 3 years.

reply

I nearly said the same thing. Holds up well after three years? It's not like it's some decades old film.

reply

Touche. You're right.

I guess I mean also that it holds up to re-watching and is still good after other hero solo movies and it's own sequel have come out.

reply

Nothing has or maybe nothing can ever beat this film.

reply

Too true if that's even possible.

I accept your surrender.

This will forever be considered a classic.

This will forever be considered a classic.

Made even more so by what has followed. AOU and Civil War add depth to this already classic. Amazing when you think about it.

reply

It's officially an all-time classic.

Some minds are like concrete. Thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

reply

4 (nearly 5) years later and unsurprisingly it holds up extremely well. Civil War though, has arguably set the bar impressively high.

You want something corny? You got it!

reply

This may surpass Rocky and Die Hard as the most rewatchable movie ever made. It never gets old.
