Pretty Good

This movie was not great, but then again not bad either. A little too long for what the story line involved. We never really found out whether or not Maggie/Louise was Julia's actual daughter. It seems like it's one of those movies that you end yourself, pretty much if you feel that it is her daughter, great, if not that's fine too. It's all up to the viewer at hand. Sigourney Weaver did a great job in acting the part as did Kate Bosworth. I don't think that this film got much of a theatrical release. At least, I never heard of it being in the theaters; if so, it was probably a limited or regional release type of film. Nevertheless, it is overall a good movie, certainly worth watching.

It was clear that Louise was not Julia's daughter. Maggie had been murdered aged three. Julia wanted to believe that Louise was Maggie, and Louise told lies and manipulated her in a way that encouraged the delusion (not out of malice - she didn't know the full story)

I really loved it. In fact, I'd probably say it's one of my favorite Drama's now. The acting was amazing and the character study was so damn good. There were so many heartbreaking scenes throughout. It's a shame that movies like this don't get enough exposure and end up with hardly that much of a fanbase.

I can honestly say I haven't seen anything this good for a long time. I was absolutley gripped throughout. I took it as confirmation at the end that Louise isn't really Maggie by the fact that Julia sees she doesn't have the birthmark and refers to her as Louise.

You are not a human being, Lola, you are an epidemic.
